I started in the industry in Fayetteville, NC in January of 2022 after first creating my tattoo portfolio in August of 2020. My husband was stationed at Fort Liberty (Formally Fort Bragg), bringing us to this humid southern state. Being originally from Wisconsin, a place filled with Danish and Germanic heritage, I follow the lifestyle of the Danes and surround my life with hygge (pronounced hoo-guh). For those unfamiliar, Hygge is a noun. It’s a word that’s defined as a quality of coziness that brings comfort and contentment. I incorporate the sensation of hygge in how I decorate (with low lighting, plants, soft music, and lots of sheep fur thrown about), my day to day (slow walks with my dog, reading, getting outdoors regularly, home cooked meals, and snuggling my two orange cats), and how I host others.
