Once a date is set, you will need to send the deposit. *If your design is very complex, such as a sleeve, I may request a consultation. You are also welcome to request a consultation regardless of design if you deem necessary. Consultations requested by clients are $20 cash when you arrive and will last between 20 minutes-an hour.
DEPOSITS
Once we agree upon your appointment date/time, you must send your deposit to one of the listed money transfer apps (cash app, Venmo) to get booked. If you have neither, an email invoice can be sent through Square or cash can be dropped off at the studio. Once received, deposits are nonrefundable.
DEPOSIT COSTS:
Small Appointments ($500 or less): $50
Large Appointments (more than $500): $100
Until the deposit is received, the date remains open to schedule other clients.
Your deposit will be applied towards your tattoo total, but will not be transferred to any following appointments if you cancel/no show within 72 hours of your appointment (three days), or if deciding upon cancelling any/all potential further appointments. If you cancel with more time than 72 hours in advance and are left as a pending appointment, your deposit can be saved for a future appointment.
Deposits have a twelve month expiration period for one booked appointment, starting at the date the deposit is transferred. Cost is subject to change after six months, depending upon fluid external factors. Any cost difference would be discussed prior to rebooking said appointment.
CASHAPP & VENMO are both listed under Sweetpeatattoos
Send via friends/family, not business, or it will be returned to you to send properly.
CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS
You may cancel and reschedule your appointment twice (which means you have had three booked sessions for your tattoo). If you cancel a third time you will be ineligible to book again.
If you do not make me aware of your absence prior to your appointment (no call, no show), you will be ineligible to book again and your design will be put up in my flash category for anyone to claim, regardless of subject matter.
You are given a 15 minute grace period of tardiness to your appointment, any later and you forfeit your appointment slot and deposit, and will need to rebook.
*FOR MY LONG DISTANCE CLIENTS: If you get caught in traffic and are scheduled to arrive late, message me as soon as possible to see if we are still able to complete a portion of your tattoo in your designated time slot.
SPLIT APPOINTMENTS
When booking your appointment, please consider the timeslot set for you piece. If I haven’t determined a time for your tattoo, you must tell me if you have obligations to attend post-tattoo appointment. If you don’t make me aware of post-tattoo plans & need to split your appointment / leave early, the second appointment to complete the tattoo will be my minimum of $200 or more based on work needing to be finished.
If you need to end substantially early due to unrealistic expectations of your pain management or need to leave early here is a simplified cost of payments that will be due:
At least half the cost of the tattoo will be owed regardless of how much was completed for half day and full days. Minimum tattoo appointments will be charged my minimum cost. The cost of the final appointment to complete the tattoo will be charged upon how much work is left in addition to the minimum cost of $200.
(Full day booked, but only lasted 2 hours due to pain: You owe 500 (full day is 1k). Half day booked, but you needed to leave after an hour? You owe 250 (half day is $500). You lasted one line on the $200 tattoo? You owe $200.
DESIGN CHANGES
When you book your tattoo, you may send multiple messages if you have more than one tattoo you’d like to get done by me. Whichever design we agree upon will be tattooed at your booked session. I will often not allow the changing of ideas (jumping between completely different subject matters <I.E. kneecap flower instead of dog ears on arm>) multiple times before your booked appointment. The appointment time that is booked is allotted for your designated piece. If I’m able to fit the new design into your appointment time, there will be a cost difference since drawing is included in price and is done in advance.
When it comes to “Creative Freedom,” “Artistic Liberty,” and all other synonyms that follow along with that line of thinking; do not include this in your booking inquiry unless you are comfortable with the changes and ideas included with Creative Freedom, which you will not know of until the day of your appointment. If I need to redraw a design completely due to the client lack of specification when including the phrase “Creative freedom,” Or any along those lines, there will be a price difference.
When it comes to design, if you send multiple references, you must specify which aspects of each reference you would like to include. If that is not included, I cannot guarantee I draw aspects from all reference photos. Instead, I will draw what seems to fit best for the design based on the reference photos sent to me. This again can result in a price difference if there is substance added drawing time.
All designs are shown the day of the appointment, with a short allotted time to make small changes to the design. If substantial changes need to be made, equating to longer than thirty minutes of redrawing, a reschedule will need to occur with a new deposit. It is incredibly important you are very specific when booking for a design so that this does not occur.
TOUCHUPS
Apart from hands and feet, I offer free touch-ups for all tattoos within a three month period of receiving them. Outside of that time frame touchups are charged as my set up cost if you are not also booking a tattoo. No touchups smaller than a dime, unless it is lumped into another tattoo appointment or pertinent to the design.
Hands & feet do not receive free touchups due to informed knowledge of fallout. Hands & feet are too active to typically heal properly with the everyday movement and washing of these areas. Finger tattoos need to be dark and bold in order to not fall out. Small, light finger tattoos (similarly seen on Pinterest and Instagram the day they are tattooed) will typically disappear within ten days, leaving behind light ink marks. Tattoos along the cuticle edge are almost certain to completely lift due to cuticles growing out and falling off. Palms, in between fingers/toes, and bottoms of feet are not offered due to the six week healing process and personal lack of qualifications for tattooing those areas.
GUESTS
Two guests are permitted to attend the appointment with you. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the studio. It is an adult environment (music, movies, and my language) that will not be altered for teens attending as guests.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
I operate transactions in CASH ONLY. When paying for your tattoo it must be done in CASH. Please have physical dollar bills, pertaining to the country I'm working in, in your possession when you arrive at the studio. Get your CASH out before your appointment date. Banks are often unreliable and freeze cards that try to withdraw from new locations.
Eat before arriving at your appointment. I recommend a hardy meal with protein and carbs.
Dress in appropriate junk clothes for the tattoo location. Ink spreads everywhere. I am not responsible for ink staining clothing if deciding to wear elevated attire to the appointment. Ink does indeed stain.
REACH OUT
Whether it’s your first tattoo or a new addition to your collection, I’m here to ensure you have a comfortable experience and receive art you’ll cherish for a lifetime. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—communication is key to achieving your vision.
